The story of Inglesina began in 1963 with the production of the first model of pram called “Londra” and inspired by the traditional English prams of the British court, hence the choice of the name “Inglesina”, synonymous with iconic and timeless style.
The Italian brand has always focused on solutions that combine design and functionality, in order to ensure the well-being of children during their journey to discover the world.
THE CHALLENGE
Bring Products to Life: Making Them Tangible Online
To make the quality of the product more tangible, especially when it comes to textiles and design, the brand asked us to make the online customer experience more immediate and engaging by enabling a 3D and AR visualization of a selection of travel systems and light strollers in different color variations.
THE SOLUTION
Hyper-Realistic 3D View
To meet customer requirements, we embedded our 3D & AR Viewer into the specific eCommerce product pages via iframe. Any user can browse through 2D images or select 3D visualization for each component of the travel system (carrycot, carrycot on stand up, car seat and stroller) and each model of light stroller, by clicking on the corresponding icon.
The 3D models have been generated through different pipelines, including the shipping of physical products, the analysis of 3D design files, on which we have modeled textiles from scratch, and the aid of a swatch book to improve the texture output and provide an ultra-realistic quality.
The three travel systems Electa, Aptica and Aptica XT were respectively modeled in 6, 5 and 4 color variations, while the light strollers Quid², Maior, Now and Sketch in 8 for the former and 4 for the other two models.
Full-Angle Product Exploration for Enhanced Buyer Confidence
Inglesina’s end customers are aware of the innovativeness, the functionality and the attention to detail of each product, therefore they expect a shopping experience at the same level. Thanks to Moksha’s 3D & AR Viewer they can zoom in on every single detail, admire the finishes and perceive the high quality of the textiles, in addition to having a real-time interaction with the product.
Another fundamental aspect is to realize the dimension of the product in their own environment. This is made possible thanks to augmented reality visualization, both from mobile devices and from desktop, simply by clicking on the AR icon. The immediate and fluid experience increases the time spent on the product page, making the customer more likely to buy and helping to boost conversion rates.
Inglesina has enhanced online product presentation, allowing future parents to experience travel systems and light strollers in 3D and AR.
